“The spa is lovely and everyone there was very nice. The only part that was not good was that my massage went from relaxation (my request) to a very aggressive focus on a knot in my shoulder. It was not bothering me and I had come for a relaxing girls weekend. My shoulder was sore to the touch the next day and made sleep difficult. I would suggest that if this happens again to honor the request for relaxation. Point out the issue and let the client decide when to address it.”
